David Torres was born in 1990 in the Colombian capital Bogotá. He grew up surrounded by the porcelain factory run by his parents, which brought him into contact with the craft and art of sculpture and modeling at an early age. He is particularly fascinated by the routes that porcelain and ceramics travel in the world and the role they play in history. After graduating from the Escuela de Artes y Letras in Colombia, he had the opportunity to exhibit in museums and galleries. Thus began his artistic life in Germany, in the place where the essence of porcelain conquers him.
