The hand-painted "Forget-Me-Not Vase Naturalistic Berry Fruits" owes its realistic spatial effect to the masterful naturalistic fruit and flower painting. The filigree brushwork of the limited edition vase owes much to Matthias Steinerts.


In the play of light and shadow and through extremely graduated color values, all the subtleties are depicted in great detail and hand-painted. Thus, blossoms and fruits appear almost representational on the decoration. They are surrounded by hundreds of small forget-me-nots, the relief of the vase, which are also hand-painted golden dots. They form the highlights of the fine flowers. Without subordinating themselves, the enchantingly delicate flowers in their symmetrical arrangement do not compete with the painting. Form and decoration enter into a symbiotic relationship here, just like in nature.
