The painting on a relief ground on the "Vase, World of Meissen Patterns" requires the highest degree of artistic skill. In 2018, under the creative direction of the MEISSEN Atelier, MEISSEN presented for the first time the opulent redesign of a crater vase form by Ernst August Leuteritz from 1862. Arranged like the petals of a camellia, classic decorative motifs from over 300 years of manufactory history have been juxtaposed in cutouts. From underglaze painting to Watteau scenes and dragon motifs, the patchwork decor brings the creative diversity of the manufactory into focus. At 36 cm high, the "Vase, World of Meissen Patterns" from the Exclusive Collection is a replica that is almost half the size of the original, but is in no way inferior in terms of artistry.
