This graceful box by Paul Scheurich from the twenties is decorated with a fan as well as a mask as a knob. Strictly limited and hand-painted, the decorative mask is modeled. The interplay of black mask, golden decoration and filigree painting gives the tin a special elegance and makes it a distinctive piece of craftsmanship. The noble tea caddy is hand-painted and testifies to the long tradition of the Meissen porcelain manufactory. Richness of detail and craftsmanship unfold their effect in this noble porcelain.
