Limited Edition Dish Blue Brocade

The traditional genre of arabesque painting experiences an extraordinary juxtaposition within the framework of the "Limited Edition 2019": implemented as a border hand-painted on each of a modern vase and bowl form by Sabine Wachs from the years 1991 and 1997. The unique bowl offered here is limited to 100 pieces. For the elaboration of the stylized tendril and flower décor on this wonderful work of art, the manufactory's own cobalt blue was used, which, applied under the glaze, sinks deep into the porcelain and thus develops a special intensity. An expressive contrast to the shiny blue painting is provided by the 23-carat gold background, which lends the decoration an almost sacral aura as a matt-radiant surface and makes the bowl a unique hand-painted work of art.
