The "Tea Caddy Hunting Scenes", based on a template by the Dutch painter Philips Wouwerman, was first formed between 1720 and 1725. Wild animals and birds painted in bright colours represent the peaceful idyll of the forest and show the animals in their natural habitat, with individual riders hunting. The filigree gold decorations set the painting impressively in the scene. Limited edition.
