Antique Japanese screens and murals are the inspiration for this majestic crane decor, which was implemented for the "Limited Edition 2019" on a group of classic hand-painted lidded vases from 1869 and 1730 and a wall bowl from 1890, each a small work of art in itself. Created in several steps, the decoration places the highest demands on porcelain painting: after detailed pen drawing in a sepia tone, the black tail feathers and gray shading in the wings are painted. This is followed by the delicate gold and platinum painting after the first decor firing, which receives its radiance in a further firing.
Thus, this unique vase is a hand-painted limited work of art which fits into almost any interior design.
