Limited Edition Bottle Fantastical bird on cobalt blue

This elegant flacon combines traditional porcelain artistry with the highest level of craftsmanship and precision. In this case, the deep cobalt-blue ground is sprayed onto the porcelain and then fired at 1,330°C. The small stopper is deliberately kept understated and embellished only with a fine cobalt-blue line, creating a harmonious connection between the vessel and its stopper. Laura Neuhahn's elaborate hand-painting then begins. She first sketches the motif in fine detail before outlining every contour in precious powdered gold. Selected areas-particularly parts of the fantasy bird's wings, back, and tail feathers-are additionally accentuated with a delicate layer of gold. This creates exceptional depth and a vivid interplay of light and shadow. Platinum is used to add further refined accents, lending the motif an elegant, silvery shimmer. The floral ornaments are executed with the same meticulous care.The stopper forms the crowning finish: its blossom-shaped finial is delicately heightened with gold. The gold-plated flower and leaves echo the floral motifs of the flacon, uniting the stopper and vessel in a harmonious artistic composition.
