When thoughts, good wishes and love letters were still perfectly put on paper with pen and ink, this desk accessory was also created as a small work of art. In typical Art Nouveau style, the small Cupid was modeled, on each of his sides a bowl, hand-painted. With the depiction of Cupid, the artist Paul Helmig cites the heyday of the Rococo period. The butterflies linger on the symbol of tender love, the rose, which adorns the artwork. Playful and romantic, the bowl, artfully staffed in the finest tones, refers to the essentials in life. Hand-painted and limited: It is a declaration of love - also to porcelain art. Limited to 50 copies.
