Hearts Dandelion, Curved Heart

The "Curved Heart Dandelion" pendant features a hand-painted dandelion on a heart made of MEISSEN porcelain. The soft pink color under the darker dandelion gives the pendant "Curved Heart Dandelion" lightness. It illustrates the gentle, calming effect of a dandelion in the wind thanks to individual detached floating seeds.

MEISSEN - a very special gift. Floral painting is deeply rooted in the tradition of the MEISSEN porcelain manufactory, has evolved over generations and continues to be cultivated with great care today. Especially during the Biedermeier period, many floral decorations were created.

At that time, the porcelain painters of the manufactory used floral symbolism to express thoughts and feelings. In addition, blossoms and flowers were to be shown in their natural beauty, thus setting themselves apart for the first time from the "Indian" designs based on East Asian models. The jewellery is elaborately hand-painted, and the pendant bears the MEISSEN swords as a mark of the traditional manufactory.
