The pendant "Heart Rose" shows a hand painted pink rose on a heart of Meissen porcelain. Thanks to its light pink colour, the rose has a delicate and unobtrusive appearance. Thanks to its bright colours, the pendant "Heart Rose" cannot only be worn for festive occasions, but also shines in everyday life and at Christmas Eve. Flower painting is deeply rooted in the tradition of the Porcelain manufacture Meissen, where it has grown steadily and is still cultivated today. The rose appears from 1740 onwards as a motif in porcelain painting. Initially in bouquet form, the rose blossom became popular as a single motif in the following Marcolini period. In the Biedermeier era, the "Meissen Rose" finally developed, which shows a plastic flower still life.
