The figure "Group of cats, white" was designed by Erich Hösel in 1917. It shows a cat lovingly cuddling another small cat. The figurine joins the lively and varied figurine world of the manufactory, which has enjoyed great popularity since its foundation by August the Strong in 1710 until today. For the MEISSEN® modelers it is a special honor to deal with this historical tradition and to revive it in the figurine "Group of Cats". Instead of painting them lifelike, the sleeping kittens shine in the brilliant white of MEISSEN® porcelain and combine traditional craftsmanship with reduced modern design.
