The bird figurine by Eberlein and Kandler from 1737 has a fairytale appearance and has now been given a new look. Otto Drögsler is repainting the masterpiece in a limited edition. With its mighty feathered cap and modern green and black design, hand-painted, it sits alertly on its trunk. Its large eyes observe everything in its surroundings. The lifelike depiction of birds goes back a long way. Artists have been reproducing animal situations true to detail since the middle of the 18th century. Exceptional craftsmanship. Hand-painted with great attention to detail, the bird figurine is a wonderful example of MEISSEN® craftsmanship.
