The figure "Horse Grande, white" is a sculpture by Erich Oehme, one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century. Such a majestic sculpture requires special skill and first-class craftsmanship from the MEISSEN® animal sculptors. In naturalistic representation, including the characteristic combination of filigree legs and muscular torsos, the shaping in precious white represents a balancing act that succeeds through experienced bossing and numerous supports during burning. Oehme took award-winning magnificent specimens from important stud farms as his model for the "Horse Grande" figure. With much love, care and talent for craftsmanship, he immortalized one of these animals in this sculpture.
