The animal figurine "Billy Goat" by the artist Erich Hösel from 1911 shows accomplished craftsmanship in an enchanting way. The stately animal is accentuated hand-painted. Individual features such as eyes, horns and ears are lovingly colored. Curious and bright, it looks at its surroundings. For a better view, it daringly climbs with its front legs onto an upturned cup of MEISSEN® porcelain. This is hand-painted in a chrome green vine leaf pattern. Inspired by the decor "Full green vine wreath" created by Johann Samuel Arnhold in 1817, it symbolizes life, strength and durability. Traditional craftsmanship in a modern face helps the lovely animal figure to boldly explore.
