The "Épée Fencers" clock's inclusion in our Limited-Edition Artworks for 2020 sees it being cast in porcelain for the very first time; Manufactory staff only discovered the original plaster model by by Alexander Struck (1902-1990) in the mould store in 2017. The two fencers are holding their épées crossed in the same way as the famous trademark of the Meissen Manufactory. Two scenes by the 17th-century Lorraine drawer Jacques Callot in softly spoken reddish brown on the front and back of the clock complement the art piece.
