Another work of art from the MEISSEN® series "Limited Masterpieces".
The clock "Peter the Great - Stages of Life" shows important events and achievements of Peter the Great, who initiated numerous reforms to transform Russia into a modern state. Under a hand-painted curtain in red, we see a battle scene of the successful Russian navy, with a portrait of the tsar below. The planting of a tree represents his founding of St. Petersburg as the new capital and cultural "window to the West." Another scene on the base of the clock shows nobles having their traditional beards cut off as a symbol of "old Russia".
The beautiful hand-painted work of art is produced in limited edition.
