Tulpen aus Amsterdam. Der Schlager steht für den Niedergang der Tulpe zur floralen Massenware. Aber das Bild ist falsch. Tulpen sind wunderschön. Das beweist diese große Wandschale mit einem Tulpendekor der Designerin Sabine Wachs. Riesig, wie durch ein Vergrößerungsglas betrachtet, erscheinen die Blüten. Und statt verkaufsfreundliche, artige Kelche zu bilden, liegen sie offen und wie vom Wind zerzaust da, wobei das intensive Rot sie förmlich in Flammen aufgehen läßt.
