Flock of Birds Wall Painting "Three exotic birds"

This monumental mural, hand-painted by 15 porcelain painters, unfolds on over 72 individual segments. The artwork features 72 birds from every continent, captured in dynamic flight poses - a first in the manufactory's repertoire. The dramatic composition of the painting includes a variety of different painting techniques used to full effect. For example, the stippled cloud background allows the bird painting, richly detailed and fixed in several decorative firings, to shine in brilliant colors.
