A painting in noble floral splendor - limited & hand-painted
The mural "Still life with faience vase and cherries" by Birgit Greiß was created in 2016 based on an oil painting by Alexandre Thierrat de Lyon from 1834.
The limited edition artwork shows a lush arrangement of roses, peonies, tulips, delphiniums, lilies, poppies and marigolds, arranged in a Delft faience vase. Further details such as a butterfly and rose petals have been added to the mural. The lavish gold frame that adorns the artwork emphasizes the value of the painting. Its golden ornaments are hand-painted, and the innovative combination of different gold colors makes them shimmer in different nuances on the artwork. Sometimes matt, sometimes shiny.
The mural is limited to 15 pieces.
