What do the New York skyscraper and our vase have in common? Both are tall and slender. And both stem from the same idea: in the 1920s, people wanted to combine organic forms with the world of technology. The result was Art Deco. The decoration typical of this style, featuring peony motifs in coral red, brown, and gold, was created by Emil Paul Börner. The vase itself was created around the same time by Marianne Høst. For lovers of classic modernism, this small piece of real estate is a safe investment. Especially since you can move it around.
