The "Semper Vase Opulent Flower Painting", designed by the architect and art historian Gottfried Semper in 1836, was first presented at the London World Exhibition in 1851. Front and back show two magnificent summer bouquets, freshly picked from the garden, in traditional flower painting. The red base underlines the warm summer atmosphere and forms the decorative basis for fine gilding, which effectively accentuates the gem. Limited to 25 pieces.
