Limited Masterworks Clematis Vase

This vase combines the timeless elegance of a historic Meissen vase shape from around 1725 with a modern interpretation of floral painting. Its harmoniously rounded silhouette, inspired by the early forms of European porcelain art, is accentuated by a finely decorated gold-coloured neck, lending the object a distinctive aura of nobility and lightness.

The décor depicts blooming clematis blossoms in delicate shades of rose and cream, arranged like a floral dance around the body of the vase. The fine hand-painting gives the blossoms transparency, depth, and vitality. The design follows a deliberately reduced artistic concept: flower painter Katrin Getzlaff focused exclusively on the blossoms, consciously omitting leaves and stems. This creates a calm, clear composition that immediately draws the eye to the essence of the motif.
