description
The vase "Sociable scenes in Saxon vineyards" is an impressive work of art, limited edition, and eye-catcher of your interior design. It was created in 1771 by Johann Joachim Kaendler as one of his late works. Artful figure painting, hand-painted in great detail, adorns the vase with scenes from the vineyard and the rural festivities popular with the nobility. Models for this work of art, hand-painted, are provided by old copperplate engravings and images of the Fête galante by France's Rococo painters such as Antoine Watteau and Francois Boucher. Red, hand-sculpted fond surfaces combined with painting of high-carat gold make the precious decoration of the vase the perfect interior design. Limited to 25 pieces.
