Johann Joachim Kaendler developed the "Snowball Flower Vase" in 1739. The 19cm high Meissen porcelain vase is covered by a sea of snowball blossoms, which is partially covered by gilded twigs with green leaves. It is timelessly beautiful and of simple elegance. This Limited Masterpiece is an artistic reinterpretation of one of the most famous decorations of the manufactory. The snowball flowers are a gift from August III. to his wife Maria Josepha of Austria, with whom he showed her his love. Each single flower is attached by hand to the porcelain object and painted. This testifies the sensitivity, the high concentration and the attention to detail of the Meissen sculptors. A present full of love for the festive Christmas season.
