The figure "Pagoda Child" by Johann Joachim Kaendler from 1750 is modelled in a lively pose with refined details such as the nodding head. With one foot raised, it starts straight on to the next step. The folds of his loose garment, decorated with rich Indian flower painting, follow the walking movement, to which he nods his head. A slender cabbage leaf serves as his hat, and his delicate face, painted with brush strokes, is childlike in all seriousness. Limited to 50 pieces.
