The "Dish Dolphin Fountain" by Rudolph Hölbe from 1897 was originally intended as an ashtray. The small object, artfully modelled and painted down to the smallest detail, is impressive with a water-spitting dolphin wearing a small putto. The amusing idea of extinguishing cigar glow in front of a water-spouting dolphin bears witness to the humour of the late 19th century. Limited to 75 pieces.
