Limited Masterworks Vase Snowball Blossoms

Countless delicate snowball blossoms cover the vase, transforming it into an extraordinary work of art. With this gracefully playful yet magnificent Baroque decoration, the legendary MEISSEN modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler (1706-1775) quite literally brought porcelain art into bloom. To this day, the world-famous sculptural decoration remains one of MEISSEN's most outstanding artistic achievements. Each individual blossom is shaped by hand, carefully attached to the vessel with a pointed knife, and then meticulously painted.

For the "Reimagine Snowball" collection, Kaendler's celebrated floral world has been given a contemporary reinterpretation. The white snowball blossoms, sculptural branches, and leaves are only subtly accented. Large areas of platinum lend the surface a cool metallic sheen and emphasise its relief-like structure. Vivid floral accents in blue, red, yellow, and green create powerful contrasts of colour.

In this way, the vase combines historic craftsmanship with an expressive modern design, allowing the traditional snowball decoration to bloom anew in a striking contemporary form.
