Limited Masterworks Seashell Blue lagoon

Limited to just 25 pieces, the "Blue Lagoon" shell bowl unites masterful porcelain tradition with contemporary creativity. Inspired by the famous Meissen Swan Service, which to this day remains a symbol of baroque elegance in the 18th century, artist Maria Walther created a modern form that reinterprets the spirit of this legendary masterpiece.

The shell motifs, which alongside the swans form the central theme of the historic table service, provided the inspiration for this contemporary creation. Thus emerged the shape of an elongated, tapering turret shell, its surface adorned with a finely worked relief - an homage to the winding patterns of nature. The bowl rests on three small, pebble-like feet, lending it lightness and organic harmony. With its open form, it is equally suited for arranging fruit or for filling with flowers and plants.

The idea for the "Blue Lagoon" décor was born from memories of seaside walks and collecting shells. Viktoria Streichert translated this vision into masterful painting: a small sea turtle is carried by a wave into the shell - a delicate symbol of tropical vitality. The turquoise-blue gradient of crystal-clear water is created through elaborate airbrush technique, where two tones seamlessly blend into one another.

In this work, the legacy of the Swan Service lives on - in a new formal language, with fresh creative ideas, yet deeply connected to the Meissen tradition. Thus, the "Blue Lagoon" becomes a collector's piece that unites baroque elegance and modern lightness in a truly unique way.
