In Jörg Danielczyk's "Wing II" you thinks you recognise the lowered head of a bird of prey, which in the next moment will powerfully spread its wings and rise elegantly into the air. The porcelain painter Matthias Scholz virtuously accentuated the projections and depths of the object with mosaic-like patterns. Form and decoration mould a unit. Painting perfectly underlines the shape of sculpture. The abstract decor, animated by 23 carat gold, highlights individual parts and, depending on the angle from which we view the wings, inspires our imagination anew. Limited to 25 pieces.
