The sculpture of the group of ducks by Max Esser from the early 20th century shows the figure of a drake watching over the duck squatting on the ground with a confidently puffed chest. This sculpture is a special piece of craftsmanship that comes strictly limited and hand-painted. Attentively, the male stretches his head, ready to defend his female. The tension between generously curved surfaces describing the moment of movement and the realistically crafted details, all hand-painted, is characteristic of Esser's craftsmanship. Ingeniously, the figure's strongly colored yet finely tuned painting emphasizes the dynamics of the duck couple. Limited to 15 pieces.
